FARMERS CAN NOW FIND FODDER ON THE INTERNET

Due to the enormous number of drought ravaged farmers looking to source fodder for stock or southern agistment, a new web site has been developed solely to bring buyers and sellers together.

The site, farmfodder.com.au offers farmers looking to source fodder the opportunity to place a ‘wanted’ entry. Similarly, farmers with fodder or agistment available can place a ‘for sale’ entry. All entries are completely free to lodge and there are no transaction/success fees. When a farmer finds a listing that appeals, he can simply jump on the phone immediately and call the seller. The sale could be made over the phone.

The site has been designed solely for Australian farmers due to the shear number of enquiries for fodder and agistment being fielded to those directly involved in the farming sector.

Web developer, Chas Cleland of AUSCITY said, "Outside of our business and in conversation with colleagues within the farming sector, I have been hearing of desperation to source fodder. We know it is available and all that’s required is simply to put those that have and those that haven't in contact with each other. Hence the idea for this no fuss simple web site".
